On June 7th in 2007 The US ambassador to the Philippines handed over a $10 million reward to four Filipino informants whose tip led to the killing of the country's two top terror suspects.

On June 7th in 2008 Hillary Clinton pledged her support for Barack Obama and asked her supporters to do the same.

On June 7th in 2010 The US military said it was holding Army Specialist Bradley Manning of the 2nd Brigade 10th Mountain Division in pretrial confinement in Kuwait and that he is suspected of releasing classified information. A video showed US Army helicopters killing two journalists in a 2007 shooting. Manning had leaked the video on Wikileaks.

On June 7th in 2010 US Sec. of Labor Hilda Solis visited Fremont, Ca., and announced a $19 million federal grant to help thousands of workers who lost their jobs when the NUMMI car plant closed in April.

On June 7th in 2010 A US Border Patrol agent shot and killed 14 year old Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereca after a confrontation at an international bridge near downtown El Paso.

On June 7th in 2010  Chrysler Group LLC said it was recalling nearly 600,000 minivans and Jeep Wranglers because of brake or wiring problems that could become safety issues.
