On February 13th in 2007 - The US Commerce Department reported that the gap between what America sells abroad and what it imports rose to a record $763.6 billion last year, a 6.5% increase from the previous record of $716.7 billion set in 2005.
On February 13th in 2007 - Brent Wilkes, a former CIA official, was indicted on corruption charges related to ex-Congressman Randy Cunningham and defense contractors.
On February 13th in 2007 - David Passaro, a former CIA contract employee, was sentenced to 8 ½ years in prison for beating Afghan detainee Abdul Wali in July, 2003. Wali died 48 hours after interrogation.
